Although tooth is seemed to be lifeless it’s an alive organ. In the bone there are nerve endings. Blood vessel and nerve endings come from root canal and compose the dental pulp.

The principle of root canal therapy is to take out the sick nevre tissue and fill the space with the fillings. Root canal therapy is made in local anestethesia so the patient doesn’t feel any pain.

The canals of the root also changes. 1, 2, 3, 4 or more canals can be found. The canals are cleaned with special equipments, washed with medicine and then filled.
